Optimal region design to foster industrial diversification

چکیده
We propose a method of developing multiscalar industrial policies based on spatially constrained clustering model which combines aspects complexity, relatedness and geography. Our formulation is motivated by recent developments economic complexity regarding the evolution output through interactions among industries within regions. This aims to aggregate set geographical areas into prescribed number regions such that resulting preserve key encourage emergence complex industries. use Colombia as case study illustrate how our mode can be applied for policy regional development.
